Even though it’s tempting to sit inside and watch episodes on Netflix all weekend long, you can still appreciate date nights during winter. Here are a few suggestions when you’re looking for a date night idea!

One of my favorite date nights is simply going out for a movie, and grabbing a drink and splitting appetizers together after the movie. It gets you guys out of the house, but it won’t break the bank.

Another idea is to bundle up and go for a walk. Or you can pack goodies in your car, and drive to a scenic location for a winter picnic in the car. Taking time to appreciate nature in winter, and relaxing with someone you love is all you need for a successful winter date night.

Do you love winter activities? You can always take time to go ice skating, sledding or skiing as a group date! Make sure to bring extra hot chocolate and warm clothes for the day!

If you’re both hockey fans, you can support your hometown team at a hockey game. Even if you’re not a huge sports fan, hockey is easy to follow and will definitely get your adrenaline pumping.

There are many other winter date night opportunities. All it takes is a little motivation to move from your comfy couch!

That outfit is so cute! I’m basically living in leggings and leggings right now because I’m pregnant and nothing else fits, so this would be perfect for date night with my husband.

Also I’m a little obsessed with your watch!

Love the outfit – super comfy, but stylish. We are huge hockey fans at our house (Go Rangers!) so I love the idea of a hockey game as a date!

    • Thanks so much for leaving your comment! I think going to a local sports event (like hockey) is an awesome date night idea! Especially if you’re into exciting date ideas. Sometimes, dinner and dessert doesn’t cut it–I want a fun date that will keep me on the edge of my seat!

LOVE this outfit and that necklace is amazing! Simple dates are the best. My boyfriend & I love to find cute little places around the city… we just tried Japanese dessert dumplings and they were so good! We always share too so it’s totally budget friendly.

    • Erin,

Thanks so much for your kind comment! And I agree that sumple dates are the best dates to have! I’ve never had Japanese, but I always hear great things! Maybe I’ll have to search my city for some restaurants.
