Can anyone else believe we’re almost through the month of September? Since the fall season is almost here, I thought it would be fun to share some items on my fashion wish list for fall. Make sure to leave a comment sharing what’s on YOUR wish list for the month!

Long, Open-Front Cardigan: $25

I’ve been going through my closet, and I need more gray sweaters in my life. I’ve noticed that long, open-front cardigans have been everywhere on Pinterest and Instagram for fall. You know I’m going to jump on this trend because I love cozy and comfortable looks.

Tipped Bow Blouse: $49.50

I’ve been loving simple, clean-cut blouses that are perfect for any time of year. This cream blouse looks perfectly tailored. I’m hoping to invest in basic blouses like this one that are good quality because they will last a long time.

Crown Vintage Pilot Over-The-Knee Boots: $79.95

I don’t know why I haven’t jumped on the over-the-knee boot trend, but this is one of the top items on my current wish list. I’m all about wearing boots from September to March, so I’m hoping to add a pair in my shoe collection as soon as possible. I’m in love with these black suede

Striped Poncho Sweater: $79.50

It wouldn’t be a fall-inspired wish list without a sweater. I love that this sweater from Loft is a mix of a standard sweater with a poncho-style incorporated in it as well.

Plaid Midi Shirt Dress: $34.94

You can’t go wrong with a comfortable dress that works perfect for fall and winter. That’s why I am in love with this plaid midi shirt dress from Old Navy. Also, their prices are are incredible if you’re on budget. (But let’s be real, who isn’t looking to save some money?)

April Beauty Wish List

Ladybug Bubble Bar: Lush ($5.95)

Okay, am I the only person who thinks this is the cutest bubble bar ever? I haven’t been to Lush in March or February, so I think this will be the month I splurge on a few items for myself. I love that this has peppermint oil, which is great after a long, stressful day. This is easily the number one item on my wish list because I am a sucker for all things Lush.

Algae Sheet Mask: Sephora ($6)

You know how much I love Sephora’s sheet masks. They’re incredible, and well worth the $6 if you use them regularly on your skin as a weekly treatment. I noticed there is a new mask called the Algae mask, which is great for purifying and detoxifying your skin. After this month, I feel like my skin will definitely need some TLC.

Damaged Hair Treatment: Lush ($9.95)

Is your hair dry and damaged after the crazy weather we have had for the last two months? Mine is for sure. I have been trying to update my hair routine by trying different shampoos and conditioners, but I’ve been looking for a treatment for when my hair is desperate for an extra boost. This treatment made this month’s list because my hair is in serious need of revitalizing treatment.

Spray On Nail Polish: Sephora ($12)

Guys, this is the future. Spray-on nail polish sounds like something from a dream set in 2050. I love the idea of spraying my nails once, and just washing off the product that’s left on my skin. I don’t know how well this will work, but I can only assume good things if it’s at Sephora. I did watch a YouTube review, and it seems to have worked really well! I’m hoping to have the same results.

Ouai Hail Oil: Sephora ($28)

Toward the middle of 2015, I ran out of my favorite hair oil, and never picked it up again. Maybe I got lazy with my hair routine, but now that summer is a few months away, I think it’s a good time to add it back into my beauty routine. In previous years, I would opt for cheap oils, but now that I know the benefits of investing in a hair oil, I’ll be sure to do that this year.

Holiday Beauty Wish List | 2015

Posted in Beauty
on November 9, 2015

BB11915

It’s the second week of November, which means the holiday season is upon us. I would be lying if I said I didn’t begin my Christmas shopping, and that I didn’t watch any Hallmark Christmas movies. I truly love this time of year, and I love Christmas shopping, holiday movies and everything else associated with winter.

Aside from all things Christmas, I’ve been looking into new beauty products at Sephora. I’ve compiled a small list of the gift sets they have for the holidays, and what I’m most interested in trying out. Hopefully, I’ll see some of these as we move closer to the holidays.

Boscia Deep-Pore Cleansing Pair, $15

Korean beauty has become so popular in 2015, so I want to try some products from Boscia to see if it helps my skin. You use the cleansing cloth with the cleanser on your face to help remove all impurities from your skin. This is a must-have on my beauty wish list.

Too Faced Melted French Kisses, $25

I’ve been wanting to try these for months now. But, I always rather wait until the gift sets come out because they’re a better value, and you receive multiple options. It’s a rare occasion when I truly love all the colors in a gift set, but that seems to be the case for the Melted Lipsticks.

Jimmy Choo Blossom, $80

This smells incredible. There are notes of Italian Citrus, Red Berries, Bulgarian Roses and Sandalwood. I love anything that has a muted, sweet scent to it, which is why I’m in love with this fragrance. It will definitely become my signature scent for winter.

First Aid Beauty FAB Cleanse & Exfoliate Kit, $10

I’ve never tried First Aid Beauty, but I always hear many positive reviews from their skin products. I decided to put this kit on my wish list to switch out with my daily cleanser when my skin needs a little extra TLC. I can’t wait to see the results.

Too Faced Beautifully Blushed & Bronzed Set, $25

I’m looking to try new blushes and bronzers, so I thought purchasing a gift set was the best way to try and see the ones I love. I see tons of bloggers rave about Too Faced blushes and bronzers, so I hope I will have the same luck!

Lush Wish List: Fall 2015

Posted in Beauty
on September 28, 2015

BB92815

Fall is a beautiful time of year—incredible food, delicious scents, and there’s a cozy atmosphere in the world during this time of year. What can be better than an at-home spa day courtesy of Lush Cosmetics? Here are some products I can’t wait to try this fall:

Sparkly Pumpkin: ($7.95)

Fall means more time for baths; and this is the first item I want to try out. The mix of scents sound both incredible and delicious—juniperberry, grapefruit and lime oils, what more could you ask for? At first, I thought this would be more fall-oriented with scents like cinnamon, pumpkin or vanilla, so I’m curious to smell this product. I’m sure it will be a great combination.

93,000 Miles: ($6.95)

If you’re a workout junkie, or have had problems with sore muscles, this is a product worth investing in. Once I learned about this jelly, I knew it would be on my wish list. The jelly will soothe your aches and pains. I also learned that you can put it in the freezer and use it in the shower after for an even more powerful effect.

Aliens and Monsters Fun Kit: ($6.95)

Just looking at this product gets me excited for Halloween and fall. This multi-purpose product can be used as a soap, bubble bath or shampoo. Who doesn’t want an inexpensive product that’s also functional? And the scent (vanilla and black pepper) sounds intimidating, but delicious. The packaging also looks festive for Halloween, which means an excuse to buy for fall!

What’s on your wish list from Lush this fall? Have you tried any of the product I mentioned? Make sure to leave a comment below!

Fall Wish List

Posted in Beauty, Fashion

  1. Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, Vanilla Pumpkin Marshmallow; 2. Hat;

3. Skirt; 4. Booties; 5. Layered look; 6. Wrap.

Although I am probably two weeks too early to write this post, I can’t help but feel excited for fall. Fall is my favorite time of the year because I love the changes in the weather, in fashion and everything else. Today I’m sharing my wish list and essentials I’m hunting for this fall.

1. Fall Bath & Body Works products:

I speak for everyone when I say the fall collection at Bath & Body Works is ALWAYS on point every  year. I splurge on at least eight candles and two sets of the body products for fall. If you couldn’t tell, I am obsessed and there will be a fall bath and body works haul in the near future.

2. Hats:

Normally, I wear beanies in the winter and that’s the extent of my hat collection. I recently purchased a hat similar to the one pictured above, and I can’t wait to pair it with outfits for fall. I love that you can easily dress up an outfit with a hat, or you can pair it with a casual look, too.

3. Long midi skirts

I own minimal skirts in my wardrobe, but I want to expand my collection. If you missed my post last Wednesday, I talked about stepping out of your fashion comfort zone. I don’t wear tight clothing often, so I made it a mission to feel confident enough to try something new.

4. Booties:

Booties are the ultimate essential for this season. Whether you wear them with skirts, leggings, denim or dresses, there is a pair of booties for any look for fall. I’m working on finding a black pair with chunky heels. Let me know if you have any recommendations.

5. Layered looks:

Any layered look is an essential for me during fall. I love this look featured at Old Navy with a comfy sweater, a button-down top and skirt. These are the looks I live for during this season. I always look forward to creating new looks with my wardrobe!

6. Wraps:

Wraps are versatile throughout the season and will keep you warm during football games and apple picking. I love having a big collection of scarves and wraps. I wear them at least twice a week during fall, and I’m sure this year will be no different.

What’s on your fall wish list? What are yous essentials you need every fall? Make sure to leave a comment below!
