Fall Skin Essentials

I try to update my skincare routine based on the seasons because the essentials I use in Spring and Summer are completely different from Fall and Winter. Make sure to leave a comment below telling me what your fall skincare essentials are! I want to thank Götz for sponsoring this post and sharing their product with me. Without it, I would have never known a difference one treatment could make to my skin.

1| Makeup Remover

I changed up my makeup remover for fall to an oil-based makeup remover that’s not so harsh on my skin, which is why I’ve been loving the boscia makeup-breakup cleansing oil. I would definitely recommend this if you want a remover that won’t irritate your skin and that will remove all your makeup easily.

2| Cleansers and Scrubs

Cetaphil’s face cleanser has been in my routine for five years and I’ve used Lush’s Cup o’ Coffee for over two years. I can say that both products are wonderful for fall. I treat my skin to a scrub because of the change in weather, but I don’t need to change my skin cleanser because it works well anytime of year. Both are great for normal to oily skin types.

3| Moisturizer

Another set of products I’ve used for more than five years is the DayWear collection from Estēe Lauder. I’ve tried other moisturizers and serums over the years, but I’ve found that this collection works best for fall. Both products are incredibly hydrating but they don’t leave my skin oily or feel weighed down.

4| Treatments

Another newer product I’ve been loving this oxygen facial tonic from Götz. This product balances excessive oils in your skin, without drying out my skin for fall. It also helps soothe redness from blemishes. Let’s be honest, we all have pimples from time to time, so it’s nice to have a product in stock that helps treat any blemishes fast.

After using the facial tonic for a month, I’ve noticed my pores are smaller, and I have less redness in the problem areas of my skin when I have breakouts. I love that it removes all impurities and leaves my skin feeling refreshed. If you’re interested in trying the product yourself, be sure to shop the facial tonic here!

Double Wear All Day Glow BB Creme ($38)

You all know how much I love the Revlon Photoready BB Creme, but I thought it was time to try a BB creme that was more high end. I’ve heard so many amazing reviews about Estēe Lauder’s brand, so I decided it was time to give it a try.

Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Potion ($30)

These are my new favorite lip product. They last all-day long, they have incredible pigmentation, and they’re easy to apply on your lips because they don’t bleed around your mouth. The color I choose are “Savage Garden” & “Fierce Beauty.”

Bronze Goddess Powered Bronzer ($37)

I used this bronzer for the first time back in high school, and I forgot how much I loved it. It’s gives perfect color and definition without making your face look too overdone. I’m almost out of my bronzer from Elizabeth Arden, so I can’t wait to use this.

Perfectionist Youth-Infusing Brightening Serum + Concealer ($34)

I’ve been using a concealer from Lancôme for most of the year, so I decided to switch it up for the winter season to something with more coverage. Most days, I only wear concealer, so it’s nice to have a formula with brightening effects and coverage.

BB9715Products mentioned: Lancome Mascara | DayWear Moisturizer |

OGX Shampoo/Conditioner | Cetaphil Cleanser | Lancome Eyeliner

Eyeliner:

Years used: 1

Why I swear by it: I have never been good with winged eyeliner. I am “that girl” with uneven winged eyes walking around camppus and everyone would secretly judge me. This eyeliner has amazing precision and always gives me a simple, perfect wing on each eye.

Moisturizer:

Years used: 5

Why I swear by it: I have been using the Estee Lauder DayWear collection since my junior year of high school. I used to have horrible skin back in high school. It was always dry, irritated and severely acne-prone. This cream keeps my skin refreshed and safe from the sun.

Shampoo/Conditioner:

Years used: 1

Why I swear by it: I try to use different products from the same brand throughout the year. After changing from Herbal Essences, I noticed a huge difference in my hair. I could go more days without washing it and it felt healthier and stronger since I switched to OGX.

Face Cleanser:

Years used: 5

Why I swear by it: This product essentially saved my skin. As I mentioned, I had horrible skin in high school because of stress acne, etc., so this was the life-changing product that cleared my skin for good. There is so much product for the inexpensive price; and it’s gentle for any skin type.

Mascara:

Years used: 2

Why I swear by it: After only using drugstore mascara for years, I had a revelation about using a high-end mascara: yes, I would spend more, but the quality and quantity would be better. I’ve been using this mascara ever since. It lasts all day and doesn’t clump or irritate my lashes.
