Fashion Inspiration: Color Trends for Spring

I feel like I haven’t sat down and wrote a post about trends in the beauty and fashion world for a very long time. So, I thought it would be nice to chat about three color trends I’ll be lusting for this spring.

For those who aren’t familiar with the Pantone, they create a list of the color trends for the upcoming year called “The Fashion Color Report.” You may have heard of Rose Quartz, Serenity, and other colors listed for 2016. Today, I’ll be sharing what three colors I’m looking to add in my wardrobe for spring.

I have always been a huge fan of light purple hues and gray hues. Essentially, Lilac Gray was created to suit all of my needs. I love the softness the lilac brings in contrast with the neutral hues of the gray. Honestly, this is my favorite, go-to color that I would choose to wear continuously over the years. Whether you incorporate this color into your home decor or wardrobe, it will be a shade perfect for spring.

Can we just have a moment to appreciate this color? I think spring colors and trends are my favorite to shop and wear throughout the year. I love the look of pale, soft colors in my outfits. There’s nothing better than a LIGHT shade of blue you can pair with anything. If you’re a fan a cool hues, you definitely want to add this to your list. My first priority for spring is to find a light coat in the color serenity.

BB3216-4There is something about this color that makes me long for spring mornings filled with scents of blossoming flowers. Yes, it’s cheesy, but I’m speaking the truth. There are some colors out there that take you to a particular season. For me, Rose Quartz takes me to spring. P.S. I need help finding those sunglasses as soon as possible.

I hope you all feel inspired to begin shopping for spring pieces to add to your wardrobe. Personally, I know I’ll be out hunting down these colors trends to incorporate into my outfits.
